Celebrancy is the art of creating and conducting meaningful ceremonies for life’s milestones—whether for funerals, celebrations of life, weddings, namings, baby blessings, or any other rite of passage. While the terms celebrant and officiant are often used interchangeably, there is a distinction: officiants are typically seen as religious leaders, while celebrants have the flexibility to incorporate religious, spiritual, or entirely secular elements into their ceremonies, based on the needs and preferences of those involved.
As a Life Cycle Celebrant®, I am trained in the art of crafting ceremonies that are deeply connected to the life and essence of the individual or couple being honored. I take the time to get to know my clients, listening carefully to their desires and needs, in order to create a ceremony that is not only moving and meaningful but also strengthens the bonds between families and communities across generations.
Whether you envision a ceremony that is deeply traditional, one that steps outside the conventional, or a blend of both, my goal is to support you in creating an experience that is engaging, heartfelt, and reflective of your unique wishes. Every ceremony is designed in close consultation with you to ensure it is a true representation of your values and desires.
Life-Cycle Celebrants® adhere to a code of ethics and a clear non-discrimination policy, and we are committed to both our personal and professional development. We work collaboratively with other professionals and fellow celebrants to ensure each ceremony is as meaningful and seamless as possible.
I offer a free consultation to help you determine the best approach for your ceremony. Through meetings in person or via Zoom, and ongoing collaboration throughout the process, we will bring your vision to life, reviewing and refining the details together as we go.
I always arrive early to the ceremony to address any last-minute details or changes, ensuring you can fully relax and enjoy the moment.
